About me

I am a Language Technology Specialist Faculty at the Center for Language and Technology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I hold a Ph.D. degree in Applied Linguistics and Technology with a minor in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University.

My research interests include instructional technology, instructional design, computer-assisted language learning (CALL), computer-assisted language testing (CALT), project-based language learning (PBLL), second language (L2) listening assessment, multimodality, and eye tracking.

I love traveling and photography (see my photo gallery). My interests also include sports, outdoor activities, international cuisine, music, and foreign languages.
